Where The Heart Is

Joel Sternfeld has always been one of my three favourite photographers ever. It was crazy and surreal, but last year I came across him in a really small street in Madrid. I recognized him and called him quietly from behind the corner, 'cause I couldn't believe it. He turned around and was extra surprised he got recognized in Madrid, he even asked me how could this be possible.
Then he invited me to a portfolio review. Next day I was there. And it was an amazing evening. I couldn't believe it.
He is a very nice and kind person. And a real genius.

Joel Sternfeld siempre ha sido uno de mis tres fotógrafos favoritos de toda la historia. El año pasado de manera completamente surrealista me lo crucé en una calle enana de Huertas, en Madrid. Le reconocí y no me lo creía mucho así que le llamé con suavidad desde la esquina. Se dió la vuelta y alucinó casi tanto como yo por el hecho de ser reconocido en Madrid.
Me invitó a una revisión de portfolio. Allí estuve y fué un día maravilloso. No me lo podía creer.
Es una persona increíble y encantadora. Y un verdadero genio.
